Photos from National Nursing Home Week! We kicked it off with a Mother's Day brunch on Sunday. Monday brought forth kindness boxes for the departments by the residents. Tuesday was kindness cups for all of the employees and ice cream sundaes! Wednesday we had tractor rides around Jellico sight seeing on a beautiful day. Thursday saw the residents color the world with kindness hands with special messages written by the residents. And Friday we had grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixins' followed by a watermelon eating contest! We had a wonderful week doing all these tasks. Hats off to the Activities department for pulling all of this together and to the ones that helped! (The tractor ride will be in a separate post, max per post is 80 pictures)šŸ˜„

Presidents' Day is an important holiday that celebrates the legacy of our nation's leaders and their contributions to shaping the United States. This day is a reminder of our presidents' incredible leadership, vision, and dedication, who have guided our nation through some of its most challenging times. From George Washington to Joe Biden, these individuals have set an example of public service and civic duty. They have worked tirelessly to uphold the values of democracy and freedom that our country was founded on. Presidents' Day is an opportunity to reflect on our past presidents' achievements and sacrifices and renew our commitment to the ideals they stood for. We honor their legacies by continuing to work towards a more just, equitable, and prosperous future for all Americans
