I am a big believer that fear is not necessarily a bad thing. Feeling fear makes us know we might be in a dangerous situation. Sometimes these fears are physical, sometimes they are emotional and sometimes they are simply mental. Most of the time they are the later, our brain is a power part of our body. It can be spoiled or it can be an obedient child. The older I get, the more I want to challenge myself to push through fear and not allow it to interfere with my life, thus training my brain to be the obedient child.
This week I got thinking that if I knew I had only a few days left here, would I have regret of things I didn't do out of fear. I would see this all the time at camp, kids that really wanted to do something, but wouldn't because of fear, the kids that pushed through this fear, you would see so much growth, it was amazing, like they could conquer the world at that moment (this is my aha moment), the kids that just couldn't push past that fear, you would see the struggle and pain they were feeling, and you wanted to just hold them and tell them you can do this.
Try new things, push past that fear! You may find that rush will be addicting!
Have a good week!
