🧠LaSalle Behavioral Health Unit (LBHU) at LaSalle General Hospital is a specialized inpatient program designed to support adults and senior adults experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Our compassionate team provides personalized care that may include group therapy, medication management, activities, and family education, all focused on helping patients improve daily functioning and quality of life.

⚕️With 24/7 access to experienced professionals, including a Licensed Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, and Medical Doctors, our hospital-based program can also care for patients with both psychiatric and chronic medical conditions.

🏥If you’ve noticed changes in a loved one such as persistent sadness, confusion, withdrawal, or difficulty coping with daily life, help is available. You are not alone.

🔬Our LGH Laboratory continues to reach for the stars! ✨
Members of our Lab Team recently attended the Louisiana Society for Clinical Laboratory Science/ASCLS-MS, Bi-State Annual Meeting held in Biloxi, Mississippi. There our laboratory professionals attended sessions geared toward Advancing Patient Safety, Real World Case Studies, Understanding QC, Human-Centered Leadership, Leadership Development and Innovation, and more!

🍎Thanks to LaSalle Parish School System for inviting us to attend Career Day 2026 for High School Juniors and Seniors at LaSalle High School! Jena High School and LaSalle High School were well represented by some outstanding students. We were able to visit and talk with students as they prepare for life following high school.
