I haven’t seen the study for this, but I’d believe any positive thing said about house plants. I’d fall for all the houseplant propaganda over here;
Somebody could post a picture of a fern and say it gives you an 800 credit score and I’d be like “yeah, I could see that.” 😆

English Ivy isn’t just decor, it’s a natural air purifier. In just 12 hours, it cuts airborne f***s by 94% and mold by 78%, while also filtering out toxins like formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene. Just keep it out of pets’ reach; it’s powerful, not pet-safe.

So cool. My mind automatically goes to how often the Bible mentions dancing, and all of the revelations there. Babies and toddlers dance naturally. We were made to groove! Do you dance?

Forget the treadmill, if you want to beat depression, just dance. That’s the message from a landmark Australian study analyzing data from 218 trials and over 14,000 people. Researchers found that while any kind of exercise helps, dancing delivered the biggest and most consistent drop in depressive symptoms, outperforming walking, jogging, yoga, tai chi, strength training, and even standard medical treatments like antidepressants or talk therapy.

Why is dancing so powerful? Experts say it’s the perfect combination of movement, music, and emotional expression. Dancing engages the mind as much as the body, releases feel-good neurotransmitters, and often includes a social component, whether you’re sharing a dance floor or just moving at home. This unique blend helps break cycles of negative thinking, boosts mindfulness, and offers an emotional release few other activities can match.

The best part: you don’t have to be a professional or even leave your house to reap the rewards. Whether you dance alone in your living room or join a group class, this joyful movement is one of the most accessible and effective mental health tools science has uncovered. Next time you’re feeling low, turn up the music, your brain and body will thank you.

Feeling proud of my area of practice and continued study. And thankful for the answered prayer that saw me through this assignment.

10 days ago, I submitted a 50+ page research paper with nearly 100 peer-reviewed citations.
I found out today that my paper, “Subconscious Influence: A Naturopathic Approach to Nervous System Regulation through Repatterning Subconscious Thought” received the highest possible score-marked as Professionally Competent: Exceptionally Skilled.

Abstract:

Wowzers.

Sleep isn’t just about feeling rested. It plays a powerful role in how your body manages blood sugar.

Research shows that even one night of poor sleep can drive insulin resistance up by 25 percent—similar to what’s seen in early-stage type 2 diabetes. In one study, healthy young adults who slept only four hours per night for six nights experienced this shift.

This is a reminder that rest is not optional. It is an essential part of caring for your brain, your metabolism, and your long-term health.

These are fantastic suggestions for sitting with and feeling your emotions.
