"We’re passionate about giving hope to families affected by dementia,” said Sheila Carney, development and marketing manager with Waterford Memory Care. “The grant will help provide individual tailored living centered around each resident. Individuals will have enjoyable activities based on their interests; participating in music therapy, exercise programs, brain diet, Montessori programs and a new approach called SAIDO Learning. SAIDO Learning is proven to slow and even in some cases reverse the effects of dementia without the use of additional medications.”

This Veteran's Day, we honored our service men and women at Waterford Place with a celebration, complete with fireworks and live music by Silvertones. Thank you to all who made this event possible, including the Sunset Legacy Foundation and Oliver-Vandyk Insurance.

FOX 17 visited Waterford Place to help us celebrate our brave veterans. The Donut Conspiracy donated free donuts and Hair Artist Megan Hislop graciously provided free haircuts. We are honored to serve those who have served our country today and everyday. Happy Veteran's Day 🇺🇸

JENSION, Mich. -- Today is a day to honor Veterans who have fought for our freedom and lived to tell the tale. FOX 17 Morning News wanted to show some of them a small token of appreciation for their sacrifice. With the help of Waterford Place in Jenison we invited Veterans there to join us for free....
