🚨 BOIL ADVISORY – CITY OF JENNINGS 🚨
The City of Jennings Water System has issued a Boil Advisory effective immediately due to a broken water main near North State Street. Until further notice, all water should be boiled for at least one full minute before drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, or using for food prep.

To improve taste after boiling, you can shake the water in a clean bottle, pour it between clean containers, or add a small pinch of salt per quart.

This advisory will remain in effect until the Louisiana Department of Health confirms the water is safe.

The City of Jennings is currently experiencing a major main water line leak. In order for crews to safely begin emergency repairs, water service to the entire city will be temporarily turned OFF.

City crews are working urgently to locate and repair the issue. Updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
