Dear Friends and Family. I have decided to close Massage by Merrion. It has been a while coming but it has arrived. I thank each and every customer that has graced my table. I hope you continue to use massage therapy to aid in your health.

I will be giving a demonstration/class on massage Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Jefferson Davis Parish Library. Sign up with a call to them. I believe the cutoff point is 20.

Thursday the 6th of February there was a meeting open to local massage therapist at Body Balance Massage Therapy at 134 West Plaquemine street. This is the first of many more meetings for this group. There is a lot of knowledge and experience that we can share. This will benefit the people we serve and help us become more efficient with what we do and also provide a higher quality service to the community. The meeting is open to all local massage therapist. Watch for further post.

Did a massage today which was a Massage Student looking to evaluate various Massage Therapist. We had an good discussion and then got to the massage. I hope I will get a passing review. You never know when a student is coming in to do an evaluation report for class so I always try to do the best job on every person. Hopefully I will get a chance to see the evaluation. I was told "That was not a Massage!... That was an experience!" I hope that is a good thing.

I have openings during the day and after hours all next week. Make an appointment for yourself,spouse or family member.
For business owners may I suggest treating your employees to a 15 minute chair massage on site at your facility. It could be an incentive and make the employee much more efficient. Consider a one hour massage as an award for employee of the month. It will make you look good as an employer plus make your employee much more focused relaxed and efficient. It is a win win situation.

Treat yourself to a relaxing massage. It will do the body good.
I massage by appointment. If you need a massage after normal business hours I am available. Most people can't take off work to get a proper massage. After hours allows the person to relax and not have to worry about getting back to work but to just totally relax. Book an appointment this week and try us out.
