Effective January 1, 2026 UnitedHealthcareh will no longer participate as a contracted servicer of Medicaid plans. Any member that currently has a UnitedHealthCare Medicaid policy will be reassigned to another servicer.

We are excited to announce that we are now collaborating with Beyond Speech Therapy! Beyond Speech Therapy will be collaborating with West Behavioral on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help maximize our clients' growth and development. We are so excited to be able to offer this multidisciplinary collaboration to our clients. Many of you may even recognize Lynsey. Lynsey is the SLPA who will be providing services here under the direction of Savanna Tommasi, M.S., CCC-SLP. Lynsey first started working with children here at West Behavioral as a tech. I am so happy to see this come full circle and work together again.

Day 1 at of the Gulf Coast ABA conference was a success with Mave presenting on their paper “The Role of Matching in Common Pool Resources” as well as a poster on their research titled “Increasing Glove Wearing in the Clinical Setting Using Feedback and Visual Prompts.” We are excited for day 2.
