Little Milestone For Small Discoveries We are an INCLUSIVE environment dedicated to providing therapy and education to typical and neurodiverse children.

Owned and operated by a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist and Licensed Elementary School Teacher and Preschool Owner. Our center is geared toward ensuring all children exceed their developmental milestones. Little Milestones for Small Discoveries adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood and family education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. We hope to equip our children with the skills they need so that they are fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives. Our teaching and therapeutic approaches have many access points that enable us to cater to a wide range of learners. These philosophies promote self-directed, experimental learning in a relationship-driven environment. Our philosophy on education places the parents, teachers, and adults in any child’s life as co-researchers in the young person’s quest for knowledge. The foundation of our program is built on this philosophy of active, child-led, adult-supported learning. We create an environment built for daily exploration and discovery, which are the building blocks for developing self-esteem and problem solving skills.

April is more than a month… it’s a movement 💙✨

At Little Milestones for Small Discoveries, we proudly celebrate World Autism Acceptance Day (April 2nd) and Autism Acceptance Month by creating spaces where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

This month, we’re opening our doors and our hearts a little wider, inviting families to slow down, connect, and experience the joy of their children just as they are. Through play, laughter, and shared moments, we’re creating spaces where differences are not only accepted, but genuinely appreciated and celebrated.🌈

Today Lucas and I had the opportunity to visit in Bayonne, NJ 🌿💛

As a mom, business owner of , and inclusion advocate, I truly value opportunities to connect with and support other small businesses that share the same heart, passion, and purpose.

Miss Jess at JR’s Play Garden is the epitome of kindness, inclusion, and intentional play. From the moment we walked in, the space felt safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for ALL children to explore, engage, and just be themselves.

At Little Milestones, creating inclusive, supportive environments for children, especially our neurodivergent community, is at the core of everything we do. So it means even more to find and uplift spaces like this where our kids are not just accommodated, but celebrated 🤍

Lucas had the BEST time! There were so many opportunities for sensory play, imagination, and connection. We’re so excited to share this gem with our community!

We shared how deeply we care for the families we serve, and how at the end of it all, we just want to love what we do while showing up for the people who matter most at home 🏡 .

We spoke about our goals, our inspirations, and the dreams we’re still building…and how much more powerful it feels when you’re not doing it alone 🫶🏽.

We laughed, we connected, and somehow became each other’s biggest cheerleaders in just one night. 🥹

Those early years go by so quickly, and every moment is a chance for your child to grow, explore, and build confidence.

Our Preschool Readiness Drop-Off Program at Little Milestones was created to help toddlers learn the important skills they need before entering preschool — in a warm, supportive environment designed by teachers and our therapy team. 💛

During their morning with us, children will:
🌈 Explore sensory play
🖍️ Strengthen fine and gross motor skills
👫 Practice socialization with peers
📚 Participate in engaging daily lesson plans

And while they’re learning and making friends… you get a few hours to run errands, work, or simply enjoy a quiet moment. ☕

Tiny chefs measuring, mixing, taste-testing, and probably arguing about who made the best pizza.

🤝 Social Skills Club (Mar 12)
Learning to make friends, take turns, and use our words… instead of dramatic sighs and eye rolls.

🎨 Sensory Saturday (Mar 28)
Art, movement, dancing, and enough sensory fun to make every kid say, “Wait… we have to leave already?”
