Celebrate the earth and your community! 🌍
The Jersey City Free Public Library is hosting a vibrant Earth Day Celebration this Saturday, April 18, and you’re invited to join the fun. Head over to Van Vorst Park in Downtown Jersey City between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM for a day filled with nature-focused discovery.
Whether you're looking to snag some greenery at the Native Plants Giveaway, learn about our buzzing friends during the Beekeeping Presentation from 12–2 PM, or take a guided Tree Walk & Talk, there is something for every environmental enthusiast.
This event is all about bringing family and friends together for a greener future! Kids and adults alike can dive into Animal Artifact Exploration, meet the Recycle Coach, or even sign up for a brand-new library card on the spot.
In partnership with local institutions like the Liberty Science Center and the Native Plant Society of New Jersey, this is one community gathering you won’t want to miss. For more details, feel free to reach out to Elizabeth Knight at eknight@jclibrary.org.
We can't wait to see you in the park! 🐝🌱✨
