Since 2009, volunteers have been gathering at events all around the world to help their neighbors and remove items from the disastrous “extract ➡️ make ➡️use ➡️ throw away” system that is pushing our planet beyond its carrying capacity.

Jersey City Repair Cafe is taking place at Grace Van Vorst Church in downtown Jersey City this Sunday November 9th from 1PM to 4PM. The Church is located at 39 Erie St between 2nd and 3rd St.

This week, we kicked off Session 1 of our Group A & Group B Family Support Workshop Series, and it was an incredible start! Thank you to Partners in Prevention for leading such a powerful and informative session on Understanding Substance Use Disorders and Positive Reinforcement. Your support and expertise continue to make a meaningful difference for families in our community. 💙

This free session will help you better understand your financial identity, manage checking and savings accounts, create a budget that works, and build an emergency fund. You’ll also learn the basics of credit and receive a free savings journal to get started.

We’re honored to announce that Wake Up with Marci will be joining us as this year’s Recovery Speaker at the 27th Annual Red Ribbon Day Awareness Walk & Family Fun Festival!

Marci Hopkins (Wake Up with Marci) is a nationally recognized podcast host, author, and advocate who uses her voice to break stigma and share the power of recovery. Her story will bring inspiration to a day centered on community, healing, and hope.
