Celebrate the earth and your community! 🌍
The Jersey City Free Public Library is hosting a vibrant Earth Day Celebration this Saturday, April 18, and you’re invited to join the fun. Head over to Van Vorst Park in Downtown Jersey City between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM for a day filled with nature-focused discovery.

Whether you're looking to snag some greenery at the Native Plants Giveaway, learn about our buzzing friends during the Beekeeping Presentation from 12–2 PM, or take a guided Tree Walk & Talk, there is something for every environmental enthusiast.

This event is all about bringing family and friends together for a greener future! Kids and adults alike can dive into Animal Artifact Exploration, meet the Recycle Coach, or even sign up for a brand-new library card on the spot.

We’re still buzzing from our incredible trip to Branch Brook Park last week!
Between the stunning pink blooms and the great company, it was a day to remember.

We made the most of the beautiful weather by:

🎣 Catching some peace and quiet while fishing.
🌿 Soaking up the scenery and relaxing in nature.

We were so honored to host them as they provided vital HIV and STI testing for our participants.

Bringing these essential services directly to the Hudson County recovery community was an incredibly moving and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Health awareness is a massive part of the recovery journey, and we are beyond grateful for this partnership! 🙌💪

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our St. Patrick’s Day lunch! We shared an amazing meal of corned beef and cabbage, lovingly prepared by our very own Senior Peer Coordinator, Michelle Moreland️

Due to the snow, the Recovery Junction office will be CLOSED today for the safety of our participants and staff.

Mutual aid meetings will still be running.

The office will reopen on Wednesday, February 25th at 9:00 AM.
