Your child is ready to speak Spanish! Give them the space and activities that prompts them to use the language naturally.

Don’t be afraid of speaking Spanish to them if you are a Spanish speaker.

Don’t be shy to use it with your children if you think you are proficient in the Spanish language.

Don’t be afraid to use the bit of Spanish you know if you have learned some before in school or college.

Any space at home is good for Spanish! Any routine at home is good. Just choose a space, a time, a day, an hour and be consistent- your child will follow if you do it consistently.

Hi Mom! I understand your concerns about your child possibly having dyslexia. It’s great that you’re observing these signs at home.

Dyslexia is a neurobiological learning disability that primarily affects reading, spelling, and decoding. Just because your child is reversing letters or words doesn’t automatically mean they are dyslexic. Many kids go through this phase and often outgrow it with practice.

The first step is to **observe** without jumping to conclusions. Ask questions to the right people—like your child’s teacher. Find out how they’re doing at school, and consider reaching out to a reading specialist or educational psychologist for a formal evaluation if needed.
