Christmas can be heavy.
For some, it’s full of noise, food, and familiar faces. For others, it’s the first quiet moment when the absence is impossible to ignore. And for many, it’s both joy and grief living side by side.
If you’re missing someone today, please know this: You don’t have to make it make sense. You don’t have to explain it. You don’t have to carry it alone. In this community, people are remembered. Lives are not forgotten. Love does not disappear just because someone is no longer here.
To every family who has trusted us with someone they love, thank you. That trust matters more than words can say, and it stays with us long after the day itself has passed.
Today, be gentle with yourself. Speak their name if you need to. Sit in the quiet if that’s what feels right. Hold joy where you find it, and don’t feel guilty if grief shows up too.
Wherever Christmas finds you this year, may you feel held by love, by memory, and by the quiet strength of this community.
From our family to yours, we wish you peace, comfort, and warmth, and we are deeply grateful to walk alongside you.
