Five years ago this week, we took a leap of faith and opened our doors… and in doing so, we opened our hearts to our very first residents, Mr. Chuck and Mrs. MaryAnn Anderson🤍

What began as a dream has become a home filled with love, laughter, stories, tears, growth, and countless beautiful moments. Over the last five years, we have been blessed beyond measure to be entrusted with the care of so many incredible residents and the families who love them. That trust is something we hold sacred.

Every smile, every hand held, every conversation, and every goodbye has shaped who we are. We don’t just provide care — we build relationships, we create family, and we love with our whole hearts.

As we continue to grow, our commitment remains unwavering: to serve with compassion, to lead with dignity, and to love without limits.

Here’s to five years of memories… and to many more lives we will have the privilege to “get to love.”

Our residents love Valentine’s Day, and we are inviting our local community to help us make it extra special!

We are collecting Valentine’s donations to create treat bags that will be gifted to our residents during our Sweetheart Social on Friday afternoon.

Today marked Day 3 of our Annual Leadership Boot Camp, and our hearts are so full.

This boot camp is so much more than planning—it’s about casting vision for the year ahead and laying a clear, intentional path toward what we hope to achieve. We dig deep, ask hard questions, and build a strong foundation rooted in growth, compassion, and true unity—for our team, our residents, our families, and our entire community.

Today held an especially meaningful moment for us. We were so graciously and warmly welcomed into the home of George and Debbie Moxley. George, the founder of Moxley Ministries, and Debbie opened their hearts and their home to our leadership team in the most beautiful way. They covered us in prayer, poured into us spiritually, and treated us to an incredible breakfast and lunch spread.

There truly aren’t enough words to express how thankful we are. The love, hospitality, and intentionality they showed us was deeply moving and something we will carry with us.

And yes… today was also our PJ & Plan Day 💤📋 — cozy clothes, big dreams, and powerful conversations. The amount of clarity, alignment, understanding, and vision we walked away with is beyond exciting. We feel energized, focused, and more committed than ever to the mission ahead.

Grateful. Inspired. Ready. 💙

What an incredible morning at our Lights, Camera, Coffee networking event! We were proud to partner with our local Wayne County Chamber as we welcomed 41 business professionals into our community and hosted over 12 tours.

💙 Assisted living doesn’t mean missing life’s biggest moments. 💙

At At Home Senior Living, we believe family involvement is essential — because love, milestones, and memories don’t stop when someone moves into our community.

We were honored to celebrate Mr. Jonny Nobles as he prepares to welcome his 14th great-grandchild. His family chose to host a joyful baby shower right here in our community so he could be part of every smile, laugh, and special moment. 👶🎉

These moments remind us why what we do matters — creating a place where families stay connected and residents continue living life fully.

As Winter Storm Fern moves through parts of the country, we know many families are keeping a close eye on parents, grandparents, and loved ones, especially those living alone.

Cold weather and isolation can make winter storms more challenging for older adults. Senior living communities can sometimes offer short-term support focused on safety, warmth, and peace of mind. Berkie stopped by today, and let’s just say—he understood the assignment. Dressed in his cozy pajamas and ready for snuggles, Berkie was on site spreading smiles, laughter, and lots of love to our residents and our team.

He reminded us that comfort comes in many forms… sometimes it has four paws, curly fur, and a very big heart.

Because just like the saying we all know and love: “No job is too big. No pup is too small.” 🐾
(Paw Patrol fans, you know 😉)
