We were honored to take part in Wayne County High School’s beautiful Veterans Day program, where Dr. Valosen from Bone & Joint and Todd Wise, a close friend, supporter, and fellow Veteran, were invited to speak.

From the National Anthem and Armed Forces Medley to the Missing Man Table, “Taps,” and a moving performance of “Traveling Soldier,” every moment was filled with pride and gratitude.

A heartfelt thank you to WCHS for truly doing right by our local Veterans and to the students and faculty for creating such a meaningful tribute. ❤️🤍💙

Last week, Bone & Joint Institute had the pleasure of supporting the Wayne County High School Wrestling Team by donating funds for 35 pairs of new wrestling shoes.

As part of the visit, Dr. Polander spoke with the athletes about injury prevention and staying healthy throughout the season, while Breighton Flores, a former collegiate wrestler, shared his insights on the transition from high school to college athletics and the dedication it takes to succeed at the next level.

A huge thank-you to Athletic Director Justin McDonald and Wrestling Coach David Poinsett for organizing this event and giving us the opportunity to connect with such a talented group of student-athletes.

We’re proud to invest in the health, safety, and future of young athletes in our community. Best of luck on your upcoming wrestling season! GO JACKETS!!!

Mr. Donnie Nash came to the Bone & Joint after years of battling pain in his left knee — pain that affected his everyday life and kept him from fully enjoying his favorite hobbies, like hunting. Though he was hesitant at first, Dr. Valosen assured him that knee replacement surgery would be a life-changing decision.Now, just two weeks after his total knee replacement, Mr. Nash says he wishes he’d done it years ago. He calls it “the best decision I could have ever made.”
