🌿 The Healing Power of Essential Oils 🌿
At The Massage Cottage, we love using nature’s gifts to support your mind and body. Essential oils are more than just beautiful aromas — they carry unique properties that can help calm, restore, and rejuvenate you from the inside out. Here is a few 💯 we love to incorporate in with our massage therapy sessions.
💧 Frankincense – Known for centuries as a “sacred oil,” frankincense contains boswellic acids (the active compound often called “Bushwalla”) that help reduce inflammation and promote relaxation. It’s wonderful for easing stress, balancing emotions, and encouraging deep breathing — perfect during a therapeutic massage.
🌼 Lavender – Famous for its soothing scent, lavender can calm nerves, relax tense muscles, and even help improve sleep quality. It’s a classic go-to for both relaxation and recovery.
🍋 Lemon or Sweet Orange – These bright citrus oils uplift the mood, support immune health, and bring a refreshing, clean energy to the room.
🌿 Peppermint – Cooling and invigorating, peppermint can ease headaches, boost circulation, and relieve sore muscles — great before or after physical activity.
✨ Whether used in aromatherapy or blended into massage oils, essential oils can enhance healing, restore balance, and create a deeper sense of well-being — naturally.
