CHEERS to Twenty One Years, Northwestern Chiropractic College Class of ’04!
What do the two characters in the photos below have in common?
If we’re talking musical ability, the answer is simple.....absolutely nothing.
But when it comes to living with purpose, leading with joy, and inspiring others to chase the life they were designed for?
We’re basically two brothers from different mothers.
Twenty one years ago...
I WAS SCARED SH!TLESS;)
I walked across a stage, grabbed an insanely expensive piece of paper with “Doctor of Chiropractic” fancy-printed on it, and falsely confident... stepped into the world… while having no idea how much I didn’t know.
Literally...in the weeks prior to walking the stage that day.....I had accepted an offer to join a practice in Tucson, AZ.....Diann and I had had the blessing of the delivery our first daughter Savvannah.....had just purchased a house with $0 down and unseen--(btw--who does that?)..and had ZERO clue on what we didn't know.
Ignorance is bliss:) Bring on life!
Scared? Yep.
Confident? Nope.
Stepped forward in Faith one day at a time? THAT is the only way cool stuff happens. (aka --'Pull The Pin')
The mission for me and my chiropractic journey was clear from day one...
Impact as many lives as possible and have fun doing it.
It was never about...“growing a business, collect a paycheck and building a career to one day retire from."
Rather-- impacting my community, building great relationships and having fun while doing it all.
A life of doing something you don't enjoy becomes a job.
And a job without the 'fun' becomes a burden.
I wanted nothing to do with any of that.
There have been numerous bumps, tons of pivots, late nights, big wins, thousands of “crazy ideas,” reinventions, and miracles I’ve witnessed in practice and yet one truth has anchored everything:
When you keep the main thing the main thing… momentum follows and miracles are the result.
Challenges are simply miracles waiting for a place to happen. (and we've definitely had our share of challenges)
If you’re reading this, you’ve likely influenced my journey in some way—through encouragement, mentorship, support, or simply showing up.
And in the story of any successful brand…
relationships are the real return on investment.
Cheers to the past 21 years.
& Cheers to the next chapter.
Never be to scared to jump into the unknown and knowing there will be a 'suck' stage to anything worthwhile.
Push through...and never look back.
