February is Heart Month, and at Mossy Oak, caring for the heart means caring for the whole person. ❤️
Here are a few simple, everyday ways our residents (and their families!) can support a healthy heart:
🫀 Stay gently active – Short walks, stretching, or chair exercises help keep the heart strong.
🥗 Eat heart-smart meals – Balanced nutrition with fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins makes a big difference.
💧 Hydration matters – Drinking enough water supports circulation and overall health.
😌 Manage stress – Social connection, laughter, and relaxing activities are good for the heart and the soul.
😴 Get plenty of rest – Quality sleep helps the heart recharge each day.
