Not only is tonight a full moon, but today is also Imbolc! This is when the light begins returning and we can really see the days starting to grow longer. Many witches celebrate Imbolc with rituals and the lighting of many candles. With all of the snow we have on the ground, you can easily stick some candles in the snow to form a circle where you can hail to the moon and the earth in their dance of cycles.

Today I got the Andes doughnut from Donerds Donuts and here's what I have to say

This is not a doughnut, it is a time machine. The soft pillowy, chocolate cream in the center is your birthday cake your auntie made you for your 6th birthday. The minty dollop on top with the andes candy immediately shoots you back to that one fancy restaurant your family would go to for celebratory events and all the kids, including yourself, reached your hands out like striking vipers to make sure you got one of the andes candies that came with the check, and you did get one and it tastes like childhood victory. And then you're suddenly back in 2026 and your child self has left chocolate all around your mouth and there's a bit of minty icing in your septum ring. Not even just good, absolutely delightful 💜

OUR POWER IS BACK ON! We will be open today as normal :)

The power is out on our block and PP&L doesn't expect it to be back on until 4pm. If we get notification that they get it back on before 2pm we will open, but if not, then we will be closed all day.

Well, crap.
I just saw that today is the Ice Out protest where businesses close and people do not shop, in an act of solidarity to stand together against ICE terrorizing our communities. I will be closed for the rest of the day.

We will be open tomorrow as normal.
