The Cohen Home The Cohen Home, part of Jewish HomeLife, is a homelike assisted living and dementia care community

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood near shopping, dining and medical centers, our seniors share great camaraderie and enjoy a variety of activities while living as independently as possible for as long as possible. The Cohen is part of Jewish HomeLife, a non-profit senior care organization founded in 1951 with The William Breman Jewish Home and is now a complete network of at-home care services and residential communities that supports every stage of the aging journey.

Jewish HomeLife has made the difficult decision to consolidate our assisted living communities and close The Cohen Home on May 31, 2023. This move is reflective of post-pandemic changes in demand and anticipation of future community needs. Cohen Home residents have been invited to join the Berman Commons community, and we extended new employment opportunities within the Jewish HomeLife network to all Cohen Home staff. Our residents, their families, and our staff are our top priority, and we have resources and a comprehensive plan in place to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
