You’ve adapted.
But you shouldn’t have to.

Leakage during workouts, sneezing, laughing, or running is common.
It is not something you just “live with.”

Pelvic floor PT retrains the muscles so you can wear what you want, and move how you want. Break free from the fear of leakage 🦋

If you’re spending 10–15 minutes in the bathroom and calling it “normal,” it might not be your diet.

The puborectalis muscle has to relax to let stool pass. If it stays tight, you’ll strain and feel incomplete no matter how much fiber you eat.

That’s a muscle coordination issue, and pelvic floor PT can treat it.

Save this if you needed to hear it. And send it to the person who lives in the bathroom. 👀

When we hear what people have been told to do for painful s*x… our pelvic PT hearts break a little 💔

🫠 “Have a glass of wine first”
🧴 “Just use more lube”
🧘 “Try to relax”
🙄 “It’s normal after kids / with age”

Painful s*x is not a mindset issue.
It’s not a “try harder” problem.
And it’s definitely not something you should drink your way through.

Pain with s*x often has real, treatable causes:
• pelvic floor muscle tension or weakness
• scar tissue
• nerve sensitivity
• coordination issues between your core & pelvic floor

✨ Treating the cause should always be the answer, not layering coping strategies on top of pain.

You deserve s*x that feels safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. We want to help!

📩 DM us or book a consult to get to the real root of the problem

When your uterus is throwing hands every month, that’s not “just bad cramps.”
That’s your body waving a giant red flag. 🚩

Endometriosis can impact way more than your period, we’re talking:
💥 chronic pelvic pain
💥 painful periods, s*x, or bowel movements
💥 hip, back, or nerve pain
💥 fatigue that wrecks daily life
💥 workouts, workdays, and relationships taking the hit

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help by:
✨ calming an overactive, guarded pelvic floor
✨ addressing muscle, nerve, and mobility restrictions
✨ improving pain with movement, exercise, and daily life
✨ giving you tools to feel more in control of your body

We can’t “cure” endometriosis, but we can help you take your life back from the pain.
In addition, stay connected to learn more about endometriosis in March! March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and we will be annoucing an event! Join our email list at our website for updates, info and to join our monthly support group.

Leakage during sports is common, but it’s not normal, and it’s not something athletes should just “deal with.”

At Break Free, we specialize in helping people with incontinence get back to the sports they love with confidence, not embarrassment. Whether it’s you or someone you love, support exists, and shame doesn’t belong in the conversation.

🤍 no one should sit out because of leakage.

One of the most dreaded parts to having a baby... the first postpartum p**p. 💩 🤯

We hear this all the time as pelvic PTs :

“I have tight hip flexors!” Or “I always have to stretch my psoas!”

When we test the length of the hip flexor (the pesky psoas), it’s not actually tight. It FEELS tight because it needs strength!!

When hip flexors are weak, it puts extra work on the muscles around it - like the diaphragm, lower back muscles to support the spine and the pelvic floor!

Sometimes the secret to tight hip flexors is strengthening it!

Diastasis recti isn’t just about a gap in your abs, it’s about how your entire system adapted during pregnancy.

And postpartum? None of that automatically snaps back into place.

When the diaphragm, abdominals, and pelvic floor aren’t working together, we see leaking, prolapse, pain with s*x, constipation, back and hip pain... sometimes months or even years later. That’s why kegels alone aren’t the answer, and why lying on the floor forever won’t prepare you to lift a 30-lb toddler.

Postpartum rehab isn’t about “bouncing back.”
It’s about rebuilding for real life.

And whether you’re 6 weeks postpartum or 16 years out, it is never too late to rehab.
