We’ve got to give credit where credit is due.

Earlier this fall, we were proud to serve as a drop-off location for WBNG 12 News’ coat drive. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, more than 2,000 coats were collected for children in need across the Southern Tier.

A heartfelt thank you to our patients, our community, and the incredible WBNG team for making this possible.

Meet Emily Paige from Queensbury and Rhonee Sheapal from Canastota, visiting us from Le Moyne College’s PA Program!

They’ll be with us for the next five weeks, learning the ins and outs of pediatric care. We love having students here… some stay, some head off to new places, but all of them take a little bit of Tier’s compassionate care with them.

Flu shots are now available at Tier Pediatrics! Here’s what you can expect at your child’s first flu shot visit:

Before the appointment:
Keep things calm and honest... let them know they’ll feel a quick little poke that helps keep them healthy. A small reward planned afterward never hurts either!

During the appointment:
Distraction is the real MVP. Bring their favorite comfort item, sing a song, play “I Spy,” or let them watch a quick video. For little ones, a cozy lap hug helps them stay still and feel safe.

After the appointment:
Expect lots of praise for being brave! A little soreness or fussiness is normal, and a cool compress can help. And if you ever have questions, we’re just a call away. 💙
