Who We Are Wednesday ❤️

This week, we are featuring Alex Wyman, Heart Monitor Tech at Karing Hearts Cardiology.
Alex has been part of the Karing Hearts family for a little over a year, and one of her favorite things about working here is the way the team comes together to care for patients like family.
💕She loves being part of a team that works hard to make sure every patient feels supported, cared for, and in good hands.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends. 🧑‍🍳She also loves cooking and baking for the people she loves, especially when sourdough is involved. Her go to local spot is Stir Fry Cafe in Kingsport.

🤍We are grateful for Alex and the compassion, teamwork, and dedication she brings to Karing Hearts every day.

Patient experiences like this are why we do what we do.

Heart care is personal. For many families, it spans generations, and we are honored when patients trust us to walk with them through that journey.

Thank you for allowing us to care for your family and for sharing your kind words.

Your heart matters to us. ❤️

Independent care matters. Patient access matters. Our community matters.

An amendment to House Bill 0819 could threaten independent cardiac catheterization clinics like ours and impact patient access to care in our region.

We invite you to hear directly from our Administrator, Rob Gregory, as he speaks before the committee about what this legislation could mean for our patients, our practice, and our community.

Please watch the hearing, scroll down to index HB0819, and share this post to help raise awareness.

At Karing Hearts, our mission has always been to provide high-quality, accessible cardiac care to our community.

Recent news coverage highlights proposed Tennessee legislation that could affect the ability for independent practices like ours to continue offering independent, patient-focused cardiac care in our region.

We encourage you to watch the interview, read the full story, and share it to help raise awareness about what this could mean for patients and healthcare access in our community. ❤️

⚠️ ATTENTION: Help Protect Your Healthcare Options

New legislation being considered in Tennessee could impact access to local cardiac care.

House Bill 0819 and Senate Bill 1369 include a provision that would require cardiac catheterization labs to be affiliated with a hospital in order to operate.

If this provision passes, it could eliminate independent, free-standing cardiac cath labs in Tennessee.

Facilities like Karing Hearts Cardiac Cath Lab in Johnson City could be directly affected, potentially reducing access to important cardiac services for patients across our region.

This could mean for patients:

• Fewer choices for where patients can receive cardiac procedures
• Increased travel for care, especially in rural communities
• Higher healthcare costs

If access to local cardiac care matters to you, please review the information in the graphic and consider sharing your thoughts with your state legislators.

📩 Contact information for the House Ways and Means Committee is listed in the first comment.
