Achieve Health & Wellness is a Physical Therapist owned private practice located in Gray and Kingsport, TN. Our focus is outpatient orthopedics. We are dedicated to providing a high standard of care to our patients. Our practice is committed to a patient centered approach and is founded on clinical reasoning. We are delighted to introduce Joshua Scalf as the newest addition to our team at Achieve. Joshua brings with him a wealth of expertise as a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist. Having earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Emory and Henry College, Joshua possesses a nuanced understanding of the interplay between psychological and physical factors in patient care.

With a robust background encompassing outpatient physical therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute-care settings, Joshua is adept at tailoring treatment plans to suit each patient's unique needs. By implementing evidence-based practices and adopting a holistic approach, Joshua strives to empower patients on their journey towards optimal health and wellness.

Beyond the clinic walls, Joshua finds solace and adventure in the stunning landscapes of the Appalachian Mountains. Often accompanied by Cali and Moose, beloved Labrador companions, Joshua enjoys various outdoor pursuits, including hiking, trail running, kayaking, bouldering, and even the thrill of skydiving.
