Alrighty sweet loves!!!!!!

I am throwing a Sacred Born Christmas Candlelight Party!!✨even though there a lot of December babies😅

Theme is your Best Little Black Dress, all of us dressed up(talking makeup and curled hair), a night to dress up and go all out, candles everywhere, Christmas Music, there might be lots of dancing, definitely all of having a good ole Christmas hang out!

This one is just for Mamas, just us women gathering and building each other up!

When: Dec 13th at 5pm

RSVP only since it’s at the clinic and it’s kind of small, but let’s pack it in, just message me for a spot!

Obviously we will be taking photos and documenting how good we all look!

This lady yall! And this baby!!! The biggest heart melting moments we have had throughout your journey✨

you are truly one of kind! The way that you intuitively listened to yourself throughout your entire pregnancy, using your voice, and moving with so much grace, was beyond empowering to witness.

Thank you for my sweet sheep skin present and the love you have shown to me. Beyond honored, I would be your Midwife every time!

Today I got to do a Closing Ceremony for a mama that truly went to the ends of the Earth for her baby!

hearing you tell your birth story today, moved and reminded me of the resiliency that women cultivate to birth their babies✨ to do this closing ceremony for you was such in honor my dear!!!!

Two babies in one week. One at Home and one in the Hospital.

And the strength this mama had to see her baby through, is one I will never forget.

From waking up to bleeding, to rush her to a rural hospital then to get sent to another hospital because of lack of resources, to then truly honor her wisdom of birth, being as this was her 7th baby, would bring anyone to their knees.

Elizabeth Hoover your grace and ability to stay calm despite all the unknowns is one for the books!

The Divine turns that your birth story took, and the fact that you are both here, makes me grateful beyond belief.

To walk alongside you in what unfolded in something we could have never dreamed of, was a ride my dear.

Sometimes people think this work is all about Homebirth, but Midwifery care is about walking alongside, through it all. The unknowns, the scary, and the joy.

My heart is so happy you both are here and you get to love on this new baby and continue to be the best mother to your littles💓💓you are the essence of strength dear one!

Oh this birth…….it healed me, it made me see the magic once again✨

Held by the ones who loved you, you brought another soul to this side.

To see you lean on them, yet carry yourself through was something I will hold forever. You rose when it became too much, you softened when everything was too hard, and for that I want to say thank you!

Thank you for allowing my Midwife heart the space to trust birth again. Thank you trusting the process and everything that comes with it.

You were something to behold my dear. I want you to step into motherhood with all that your birth brought you! Forever in my heart💓

Got to celebrate this mama and baby so hard today at our 6 week visit, his original due date✨NICU mamas are the fiercest of us all!

Seeing them on this side, completely in love with each other makes me so happy💓

September rocked me• to my core• to my bones

It stole every piece of me. It left me on the floor most days, on my knees. Forcing myself to get up and keep putting one foot in front of the other.

September was full of clinic days where I painted bellies, and held babies, crying over how big they were. It was full of every kind of birth. Too early babies with extended nicu stays, fast and gloriously efficient babies, babies where birth stories changed on a dime, leaving their mothers to pick up the pieces, and babies that you pray over every day.

This work as a Midwife is one that consumes you. You are never not thinking about the ones you care for. So I guess my September has been that, all consuming.

We are gonna do another Mama meet up✨✨ this time it is a clothing swap!

Bring all the clothes you never wear, that are sitting in the back of your closet and we are gonna make huge shopping piles at the Clinic✨

What you don’t wear anymore another mama will think it’s brand new!

Well all be hanging out, shopping, music, probably some dancing, and making new friends🤎

Who wouldn’t want to shop and thrift outfits while hanging out with all the ladies?

And whatever is left over I will donate for other women to enjoy!

My Story

Hey everyone! For those of you new to this page I wanted to share a little about myself and say welcome. . . I was born in the Appalachian mountains in Asheville NC, and work here as a Massage Therapist at a Chinese Medical Clinic. I am also a Certified DONA Birth Doula CD(DONA) and I'm so excited to offer love to my community. . . This theme of helping the woman, standing beside her, and being that person that goes in between for her, really started when I worked in Thailand for two years. I was working with women and girls who were at risk or trafficked into the s*x industry there. And since then I have travelled other places in the world witnessing and seeing what it looks like when a woman has no voice. My heart's cry is truly this! Advocating for women and girls. . . I want to do this for women everywhere. My hope is that through my Doula services that woman feel seen, heard, and loved. I think the most revolutionary thing me can do as Birthworkers is actually see the person across from us. See them and extend love, leaving out our own opinions. . . I am also a Co-Founder of the organization Wombs of the World, which is on a mission to support gentler births by connecting Professional Doulas with Clinics around the World, trying to bridge the gap to make Doula services accessible to every woman. We have programs now in Tanzania and Ecuador. I am so excited to be able to offer this to Doulas. Women supporting Women. . .
