Congratulations Julia Ponder!!!

Congratulations to Julia Ponder, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C—ANPA Past President and former AANP State Liaison—on being selected as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP)! 🎉

This prestigious honor recognizes Dr. Ponder’s impact at both the state and national levels in health policy and education. She will be formally inducted as an FAANP at the AANP National Conference this June.

Established in 2000, the FAANP program recognizes nurse practitioner leaders who have made outstanding contributions to education, policy, clinical practice, or research, advancing the NP profession globally. Fewer than 1% of AANP members achieve this distinction.

Of the 998 current FAANP Fellows, only nine reside in Arkansas:

The care you provide to our SANE patients goes far beyond clinical skill, it takes compassion, patience, and the ability to show up for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
