Kalifornia Karl’s 60’s Show was a big hit. Music is a great tool for reminisce. Music and lyrics are deeply stored in the brain…and this music was part of the fabric of our lives. Toward the end of the photos you’ll see we made a gorgeous pasta salad for afternoon snack at the Cottage the other day. Not only was it a fun and social activity , we enjoyed eating it too- fresh and good.

We just love our crafting projects! Check out the paper quilt, the fork art🌷 tulips, and the bunnies, as well as the creative cooking projects. These projects can provide significant therapeutic benefits, including reduced anxiety, improved mood, and increased cognitive stimulation. Plus, they help create a non-verbal outlet for connection and self-expression, promote fine motor skills, assist in orienting us to time and season, and can enhance a person’s sense of accomplishment and well-being. And sometimes, the joy of some yummy food in your tummy!

The most 💕🌟amazing🌟💕 memory care team gathered for a training and information sharing session at Briarcliffe Gardens this afternoon. All departments were represented. We heard heart warming stories of caregiving in action and talked about how to refine and improve the day to day lives of our residents 💕

Another session will meet a different day so we can catch everyone who was working during this one.
