A small but mighty Candeo team was at the Iowa Capitol yesterday for IACP Hill Day, meeting with state legislators to advocate for what matters most—strong Medicaid funding, increased investment in HCBS services, and the issues that directly impact our members and staff every single day.

All of us at Candeo are so thankful for the generous outpouring of food, quick recipes and cash donations for us to take to the people we support. It is a tragedy that the SNAP benefits are interrupted, and we hope our government restores them fully very soon.

Round one of food will go out this afternoon!

With no end in sight for the government shut down, food insecurity is a very real concern for those we serve along with our employees. Please consider donating to help us ensure nobody goes hungry.
