National Ugly Sweater Day was a day for our Associates and Residents to show off their fashionable sweaters and compete in some Holiday Games. Mastering the art of placing marshmallows in a bowl with red Solo cups on your hands was quite the challenge. Along with how fast can you unroll a roll of crepe paper? Embracing the joys of the Christmas Season is what we bring to our seniors at The Bridge at Cherry Hill. Today our residents welcomed some tiny visitors from Cadence Preschool. We sang, our favorite holiday songs, helped them decorate their Christmas cookies and our in house Lifestyles Director Elf read them a story. It is always a wonderful uplifting experience seeing Christmas through the eyes of children.

The Bridge at Cherry Hill residents and associates had a very special visitor—Santa Paul! He arrived with bells ringing and spent the afternoon reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Our residents listened carefully and even helped fill in the blanks!

We sang his favorite Christmas song, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," along with other festive carols, spreading holiday cheer throughout our community. Santa brought gifts for everyone and enjoyed his favorite snack—milk and cookies—with a side of hot cocoa.

Before heading back to the North Pole, Santa delighted us with his magical reindeer stories. Safe travels, Santa Paul—we can't wait to see you next year!

In recognition of National Gingerbread House Day on Friday, Dec 12th, our Residents and Associates gathered in the Bistro to decorate their very own gingerbread houses! Each participant received a house, extra candy, and pretzel décor, icing, and a holiday bow. For many, this was their first time—and everyone agreed it was a fun, relaxing way to celebrate the season.

Associates and residents dressed in their favorite holiday colors and festive shirts. Residents spent the day playing indoor Bocce, decorating holiday sugar cookies, and enjoying those cookies with hot cocoa during our social hour.

On Wednesday, we kicked off the season with a festive social gathering where residents and associates shared cherished family traditions and stories. Together, we decorated ornaments, sang along to classic holiday tunes, and enjoyed a glass of creamy eggnog. At The Bridge at Cherry Hill, we’re honoring traditions while creating new memories this holiday season!
