🌟 Employee Appreciation Day 🌟

Today isn’t about routine thank‑yous. It’s about recognizing the special people who choose work that can’t be rushed, automated, or faked. In senior living, impact shows up in even small moments:
• A warm greeting that makes someone feel seen as they start their day
• A helping hand offered before a resident even has to ask
• A conversation that turns an ordinary afternoon into a meaningful connection

💗 Acts of humanity like these aren’t merely duties. They’re why families trust us with the people they love most.

To our team: your compassion ripples farther than you realize. We see it. Our residents feel it. And today, we celebrate the extraordinary difference you make by showing up with skill, heart, and genuine care. 🫶

✨ Last night, residents at The Bridge at Cherry Hill were completely mesmerized listening to the musical talents of James Michael, Broadway Baritone. 🎶

James took us on a musical journey back in time with songs from "South Pacific," 🌅 "Les Miserables," 🇫🇷 "Beauty and the Beast," 🌹 and so much more. It was as if we attended our very own Broadway musical. 😊 Happy memories, smiles, and tears flowed throughout the evening. It was indeed a memorable performance. We love music at The Bridge at Cherry Hill. Some residents even sang right along.

🏂 Over the last few weeks, many of our Bridge at Cherry Hill residents have been actively participating in our very own Go for the Gold Winter Olympic games. ❄️

🎳 These games were incorporated into our Lifestyles calendar of activities. They consisted of bowling, axe throwing, co****le and our newest game, curling. 🥌 Our residents were up to the challenges and competed in the games 4 times a week.

🥇🥈🥉 Yesterday, we held an awards ceremony. We are very proud of our Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winners. Certificates and trophies were also given to those who competed. Congratulations to all!! Many residents were delightfully surprised and very happy to have earned a medal.

Our motto was, "You're never to old to win the gold at The Bridge at Cherry Hill!" ☺️

The Bridge at Cherry Hill celebrated Mardi Gras with colorful beads, trivia, and entertainment! ⚜️🎭🎉 During lunch in our main dining room, we served the traditional king cake, beautifully decorated with Mardi Gras colors, beads, and of course, the traditional baby. 🍰👶

The baby was hidden under 2 slices of the cake, and each was randomly served to a male and female resident. Those two lucky residents were crowned King and Queen of Mardi Gras at The Bridge at Cherry Hill. 👑

Congratulations to our King, Frank Laurito, and Queen, Rita Pontarelli. They were both delightfully surprised and graciously accepted their crowns. Queen Rita's first decree was to "Abolish all taxes," to which King Frank agreed. Happy Mardi Gras! 💜💚💛

As we remember two of America's greatest presidents today, may we continue the legacies that made them great. 🇺🇸

❤️ Happy Valentine's from The Bridge at Cherry Hill! There's nothing like a good love story to kick off the weekend, and we have a great one to share! 🥰

Meet “The Singing Fiancés,” Vincent DiMonte and Gertrude St. Pierre. He's 75. She's 90. They both moved to The Bridge for support and to make friends... and found that they were becoming something more. ☺️ Now, they are planning a wedding at our community! 💍

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the Bistro at The Bridge at Cherry Hill, you'll find many residents engaged in our chair dancing program. 🪑🕺 In addition, standing at her med cart in the hallway, you'll hear Loreen, our singing Med Tech! 🎶🎤 Loreen brings smiles and energy to everyone she encounters while doing her job. She also dances her way into the Bistro while delivering meds, infusing the room with energy. We love working together to create a positive atmosphere for our residents. ❤️

Yesterday, we held a 100th birthday party for a very special lady, Gloria Sorofa! 🎊🎂 Residents, staff, friends, and honored guests gathered to celebrate together at The Bridge at Cherry Hill. 🥳

Gloria graciously received citations from Mayor Joseph Polisena Jr. (presented by our Executive Director, Maryann Grace), Senator Andrew R. Dimitri, District 25, Johnston, and State Representative Deborah Fellela. We appreciate the state of Rhode Island and town of Johnston for honoring her in this way! 👏

At her party, Gloria enjoyed dancing to the wonderful music provided by Dj Eddie The FIXER , and we all serenaded her with "Gloria" by Laura Branigan. She was showered with flowers, gifts, and well wishes by all who attended. 💐 She said she had the best day ever. Congratulations on this incredible milestone, Gloria! Your family from The Bridge at Cherry Hill loves you! 🩷

🎤 Tuesday afternoon's sing-along at The Bridge at Cherry Hill gave residents the opportunity to sing their favorite songs. It also brought about the singing debut of fiancés Vincent DiMonte and Gertrude St. Pierre, who performed the song "It Had to be You." ❤️

They are recently engaged and were a karaoke hit! We're sure they will be performing more songs in the future. 😉
