Newborn moms: I see you.

You pack the bag. Feed the baby. Change the blowout. Repeat. And you haven’t even left yet.

Nobody talks about how hard it is to just leave.

The timing has to be perfect. Baby fed. Diaper changed. You somewhat put together. And then you get there and baby needs to eat again.

Leaving is hard. Making and keeping appointments is hard. But you did it. You prioritized your baby’s (and hopefully your) needs by showing up.

That’s why we allow extra time for newborn visits, because as much as we’d love for them to be on a “schedule,” they run the show. The last thing we want to do is add stress to your day.
