To recognize National Donate Life Month, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center hosted a Flag Raising Ceremony to honor those who have been added to the organ transplant waiting list, individuals who have registered as donors to give hope to those in need, and the donor heroes who have given the ultimate gift of life. 💙🏳️💚

Last week, Alexis Lohr, PharmD, Director of Pharmacy at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, visited her high school alma mater, Conemaugh Township Area School District, to speak with the high school students currently enrolled in their Anatomy and Physiology Class.

Colorectal cancer often develops without symptoms in its early stages. When detected early, the five-year survival rate is about 90 percent. However, many cases are diagnosed at later stages when treatment is more complex.
