Mark your calendars!

01/09/2026

January is substance use disorder (SUD) awareness month; co-occurring SUD is common for people living with severe mental illness. Yet only 19.2% of people with severe mental illness and SUD received treatment for both conditions in 2024. Advocacy is vitally important to demand more accessible and better services tailored to help people with co-occurring conditions.
