It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I inform you of the sudden passing of a member of our dental family. Mary Sullivan joined our practice in June of 2015 and worked as a Dental Assistant and then as our Office Coordinator. She was the "glue" that held our practice together. She was one of the most hard working and loyal people we know as well as someone who brought a lot of joy by making sure that every birthday and every holiday was properly celebrated. It is still very hard to process the fact that she was only 48 years old and that hers will no longer be the first smiling face we see as we enter our office! Our hearts and prayers are with her family as they are dealing with their loss and grief💔

Every year, our staff looks forward to the ADA midwinter meeting as a way to stay up to date, earn continuing education credits and strengthen teamwork. So, this year did not disappoint!!

I would like to tell all our patients that there is recent misinformation disseminated by the media quoting the World Health Organization (WHO) urging patients to postpone elective dental procedures because of aerosol transmisions of Covid19.

It is important to note that the American Dental Association (ADA) has refuted this information because research shows that dental health impacts the severity of Covid19 infection.
In fact, because of the extensive protective equipment and infection control protocols used by dental professionals, OSHA representatives have told us that Dental offices are a lot safer than other establishments.
