April is here, and we’re so excited to welcome Alexis S. Flannagan, LAMFT to the Healing Grounds Therapy & Wellness Center family! 💛

Alexis is a Family Psychotherapist and Play Therapist with a special heart for supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges with compassion, creativity, and care.

Her work is rooted in helping children and families feel seen, supported, and connected through a holistic approach that includes attachment-based family therapy, systemic work, and experiential play therapy techniques.

She also brings passion and support to her work with women, BIPOC communities, marginalized groups, LGBTQ+ individuals, and children navigating grief, emotional challenges, and family transitions.

This spring, we’re excited to continue creating space for healing, growth, and transformation — and we’re honored to have Alexis growing with us. 🌷✨

This month we pause to honor the strength, resilience, and courage of women.

The women who carried families through difficult seasons.

The women who nurtured, led, protected, and rebuilt.

Sometimes it looks like perseverance.

Still on cloud 9 thinking about everything that unfolded last weekend.

Becoming the Person You Need wasn’t just a workshop. It was a room full of honesty, reflection, vulnerability, and powerful moments of realization. Watching people slow down, recognize their patterns, see their strengths, and give themselves permission to grow was something special.

And Bouquets & Becoming reminded us that becoming isn’t just something we talk about… it’s something we nurture, celebrate, and continue cultivating.

At the heart of both experiences was one message:
✨ Becoming the person you need takes awareness, courage, and community.

What made it even more meaningful is that this work continues beyond the event.

Through Healing Grounds Foundation, we’re pouring that same energy into Crowned & Confident — an empowerment initiative sponsoring three young women with a confidence-building and emotional wellness experience leading up to prom. From dress and shoes to hair, makeup, and intentional support so they feel seen, celebrated, and confident from the inside out.

Because every girl deserves to walk into a room knowing she belongs there.
