Quarter 4 of the 2025 Community Photography Contest is now open. We’re inviting photographers of all experience levels to submit images that capture the atmosphere of fall in our community. Whether it’s the rich colors of changing trees, local seasonal traditions, or quiet scenes that reflect the beauty of our surroundings, this is your chance to share what makes this time of year special.

We recently shared a look at this year’s pumpkins in the contest, and now the votes are in! For the first time, our patients picked the winners, and let’s just say… they served up pumpkin perfection!

This week, we celebrate the unseen heroes behind the images, our incredible Radiologic Technologists. At Jackson Parish Hospital, our Rad Techs are more than “button pushers.” They are the eyes of medicine, the first to see what others cannot. With compassion, precision, and strength, they help uncover the answers that guide diagnoses and treatment - often standing strong in moments that break their hearts.

From X-rays to CTs, MRIs, Ultrasounds, and more, their work is vital to the care we provide. Their dedication, empathy, and expertise make a lasting impact on every patient they serve.
