We will be open tomorrow, February 3, 2026. Please know and understand, if the bus drivers don't feel comfortable going down a road, they will not to do it. If we cannot get to your house and you want to bring your participant in and pick them up, you are more than welcome to.

A call for help...this is what our parking lot looks like today, a week after the winter storm came through. If you are not aware of who we are, we are a nonprofit organization that works with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We teach them daily living skills to help them be as independent as possible in their homes and communities. Our participants and staff have not been able to come in this week due to road conditions. We would love for everyone to be able to come in Monday. However, to do so, we need to get our parking lot and sidewalks cleared and safe for everyone to walk on. Yes, we can pay someone to do so, but with us being nonprofit, that cuts into the funds we use for our participants. Do we have any kind hearted volunteers that would be willing to help us? If so, you would have some really grateful people that would give you a huge thank you from the bottom of their hearts.

Due to the conditions of all the side roads that a lot of our staff and participants live on, we will be closed tomorrow Friday, January 30th. We hope that conditions will improve over the weekend where we can open Monday. We will continue monitoring the road situations.

We are WATCHING the weather. As of now, we will have regular program hours on Friday. If any precipitation is expected to come earlier than forecasted, we will leave early and bus routes will leave early. Please make a backup plan if this happens. Closings will be posted on KAIT Region 8, Focus, Inc page, Focus Inc Paragould Adult Development Center, Focus, Inc. Jonesboro Adult Developmental Day Treatment Program - ADDT

We have increased the forecast snow totals a little and added in sleet. Sleet will be a HUGE impact on how much accumulation we see. More sleet = less height, but the impact is the same. There will be more fine tuning to this forecast map!!

Last January, while shopping for furniture and decor for our building, we came across picture #1. We thought it was a unique piece, fitting for our awesome participants, and gave us an idea for an art project. Over several months, different participants took their turn adding their own flare to our project. It has recently been completed, framed and hung in our main entrance foyer. May I present picture #2! Created by each and everyone of our participants that chose to participate. I think it turned out above and beyond our expectations! Let them know what you think!

We had a great day repping Area 7 Special Olympics at the state bowling tournament at Professor Bowl in Little Rock. Let's congratulate these amazing athletes and their accomplishments today!!!
