Merry Christmas from Craighead Nursing Center!

Thank you will never be enough to the many groups and individuals that donated gifts and their talents to our residents. The CNC elves delivered packages this morning from Santa. The joy expressed by the residents got a few of us teary-eyed.

To the staff: thank you for your dedication to provide care to one of the most vulnerable populations in the community. Never doubt the difference you make each day. It is an absolute privilege to work with some of the best nurses, CNAs, dietary staff, environmental staff, administrative staff, activity and social service professionals.

Our employee Christmas party was held Thursday evening. I appreciate everyone who braved the cold and rain. Thank you to Robin and Mekendra for the delicious food. Gabby, Jessica, and Kara planned some awesome games. I hope everyone had a few minutes to relax as friends and have a fun time together.

Yesterday’s Trunk or Treat was a huge success! We had so many kiddos stop by, and our residents absolutely loved every minute of it. 👻🧡 A big thank you to our amazing community for coming out and making the evening so special. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday! Since we couldn’t go to the beach we thought we’d bring it to us! We watched Blue Hawaii and had a luau with mocktails and karaoke 🎤

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads and father figures we celebrated today! 💙
We had a sweet time at our Father’s Day Ice Cream Social — sharing laughs, stories, and of course, plenty of ice cream.
