Our Relax and Relief Massage combines the best of both of the two most basic massage intentions, to relax you and relieve you of pain. In this treatment we will dedicate some amount of time focusing on helping you relax, increasing your circulation, improving your flexibility through light passive stretching, or whatever you may need that would fall under a Swedish Massage treatment. For the remaining amount of time, I implement as much deep tissue as I can. It's best to assume that it will be focusing on one problem area, shoulders and neck usually, for the time frame.

The AMTA Louisiana Convention in New Orleans provided an excellent opportunity to expand my clinical skills and enhance my massage therapy practice. I attended continuing education sessions with James Waslaski focused on advanced techniques for musculoskeletal pain relief.

During the training, I learned effective manual techniques for addressing cervical pain, shoulder pain, arm, wrist, and hand pain, as well as low back, hip, knee, and other lower extremity conditions.

The convention also gave me the opportunity to connect with other massage therapists, exchange knowledge, and learn about different approaches used in their practices. It was a valuable experience for both professional growth and continuing education.
