Anxiety about storms is normal and understandable given all the experiences we've had with disasters in the area. Having a plan can be a good way to decrease anxiety surrounding these events. Here is a good list of all the shelters in the Northeast Arkansas area and some weather preparedness tips. Be safe out there.

UPDATE 6:51 P.M.:
The Craighead County Courthouse Annex is at capacity and is closed. Those needing shelter are advised to seek other public shelters.

In response to incoming severe weather, JRN has compiled a list of public storm shelters across Craighead County. This list will be updated as we learn of more shelters opening.

Here's a wonderful way to help out the community!

We are launching a school supply drive to help City Youth Ministries’s students succeed in the 2024-2025 school year.

Pens, pencils, scissors, crayons, markers and paper are just some of the simple school supplies many local families may not be able to afford.

With your help, we can stuff backpacks and give every student from day one all of the supplies they need.

We will be starting the drive Monday, July 22nd and it will end August 7th.

Anyone that brings $10 worth of supplies will receive one free group class for the month of September!
