On Good Friday our Lord and Savior who was just hours away from being betrayed and arrested spent his last night breaking bread with His disciples and then washing their feet!

Every year around good Friday Pastor Brittanyand Holden Poole comes to our campus to show our residents that they are loved and to remind them that they have been cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb!

As a kid I thought age brought wisdom. I even looked up to the older generation because I thought "they're older they have it all figured out"

But I remember asking myself at 26 years old.... "What am I doing differently from when I was 15 years old?"

My answer astonished me.... NOTHING!

I was still a boy trapped in a young man's body. Fighting, Partying, Addicted, Irresponsible, Couldn't hold a relationship, Didn't spend time with my kids, Couldn't hold a job, couldn't manage money Etc Etc

I learned real quick that all the things I thought made me a man, were actually keeping me from becoming a man.

That's when I decided it was time for a change. What could I do differently? How could I become the man I wanted to be?

Thank the Lord I realized that age didn't make me wise and muscles and facial hair didn't make me a man.

But when I gave my life to Jesus He taught me new life and made me the man I am today. And He's still teaching me daily.

It doesn't matter how old you are Jesus will teach you how to be the man you are wanting to be.
