🚨🚨 Important Workplace Announcement 🚨🚨

Due to unforeseen circumstances (and definitely not poor decision-making 😇), all public restrooms are currently out of order until further notice. Please plan accordingly… hydration is now a high-risk activity.

In other news, complimentary “Brown E’s” are available in the breakroom 🍫
(Yes, I worked very hard on these. No, you may not be mad at me.)

Happy April Fools’ Day—trust no one, question everything, and maybe don’t open mysterious foil trays without supervision. 😂

A solemn yet hopeful scene unfolded outdoors at Grand Falls as staff and clients gathered together under an open sky for Black Balloon Day, honoring lives lost to overdose, su***de, and other forms of untimely death. Many participants wear black, symbolizing grief and remembrance, while holding black balloons gently in their hands. Faces reflected a mixture of sorrow, reflection, and quiet support, as some individuals bowed their heads and others looked upward, visibly emotional.
Staff stand alongside clients, unified not only in mourning but in shared purpose and compassion. After a moment of silence, the group collectively released the black balloons into the sky. The balloons rise slowly, carried upward, symbolizing letting go, remembrance, and the enduring connection to those lost.

As the balloons drift higher, participants watch in silence, some with tears in their eyes, others with hands over their hearts. The act becomes more than remembrance; it is a step toward healing. In that moment, there is a sense of closure beginning to form, as individuals in treatment reflect on their own journeys, losses, and hopes for recovery.

Here at Grand Falls, we try to create an atmosphere that promotes both grief and resilience, emphasizing overdose awareness while fostering connection, support, and the possibility of healing together.
