From the national weather service: Gusty winds and low relative humidity will create dangerous fire
weather conditions today, especially west of highway 65. This
means that wildfires could start and spread easily. Avoid burning
today and exercise caution with activities that cause sparks.

Another windy day with lower humidity levels. Controlled burning is not recommended today.

Low humidity and increasing southerly winds will create elevated grass fire conditions this afternoon, especially west of Highway 65. Be cautious outdoors and leave the burning to experienced fire and land management personnel.

Elevated to Significant fire danger will be present this afternoon across extreme western Missouri and Kanas as breezy winds combine with a dry airmass moving into the region. A Red Flag Warning has been issued from 12pm to 6pm for locations along and west of the I-49 corridor.

This week, members from Carthage, Cassville, Stella, and Redings Mill attended the Driver Operator Core and Mobile Water classes hosted by Redings Mill Fire Protection District.
The RMFD Training Division would like to thank all the students and instructors who dedicated their time and effort to improve their skills. By investing in training, these firefighters are better prepared to respond to emergencies and ensure that apparatus and equipment are ready when the call comes.
Great job, everyone! Best of luck on your upcoming skills evaluations and written tests. Your commitment makes a difference for the communities you serve.
