My name is Darla Wyatt and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned my Master's degree in Counseling at Evangel University in 2013. After graduation I was employed in substance abuse counseling until the end of 2014. I have now transitioned to private practice and am currently accepting new clients. My Focus is Marriage and Family Therapy, and I strive to bring hope to unsatisfied couples and restore their love and commitment for each other. This is accomplished through interventions which focus on valuing instead of devaluing each other. I use assessments to help understand the couple and what areas would benefit the couple most. I also prepare premarital couples for marriage and teach them basic skills that will help them start a healthy and happy marriage. My brief therapy approach will last an average of 8-12 sessions.
