🌿 Why I Don’t Use Bleach as a Professional Cleaner 🧚‍♀️✨

Bleach might look like the ultimate cleaner, but here’s the truth: it’s actually just a disinfectant.
If the surface isn’t already clean, bleach won’t disinfect it just bleaches what’s visible.

Here’s why it’s a no-go for me:
🧺 Spills on carpet or fabric = instant stains
💨 The fumes give me headaches and can irritate eyes, skin, and lungs
⚠️ Mixing it with other products can create toxic gases and yes, even Dawn mixed with bleach is unsafe
🧪 With a pH around 11–13, it’s highly alkaline and harsh on surfaces and finishes
💧 It only works in cold water hot water breaks down the active ingredient and makes it less effective

✨ The only exception: if a client already has a toilet bowl cleaner that contains bleach, I’ll use that. But straight bleach? It’s a no from me.

There are so many safer, more effective options like hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol that clean and disinfect without the harsh side effects.

We are looking to add to our House Cleaning team - this position is PART TIME Mon-Fri 8.30am-4:30pm (schedule varies), typically can expect 15-35 hours per week (if your budget does not allow for part time please do not apply) - the right candidate can work well as a team but also dependable enough to work solo as needed - if this sounds like something you would be interested in please let us know by filling out this google form - House cleaning experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate must be 18+, clean background, valid drivers license and have attention to detail
