Last year, more than 800 folks came together to support local children and families affected by autism, and all proceeds benefit program development and scholarship assistance for Leffen Center families. Our Story

Ozark Center’s mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve through contemporary, innovative, trauma-informed, quality behavioral healthcare solutions. With 30 locations across Jasper, Newton, McDonald and Barton counties, Ozark Center serves people of all ages who are dealing with mental illness, addiction, trauma and abuse. Ozark Center includes outpatient services, crisis services, housing programs and residential treatment facilities as well as the Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism. In addition to licensure and certification from Missouri Department of Mental Health, Ozark Center has accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an independent, international agency that monitors quality in the delivery of mental health services.
