Congratulations to Roger Koch, Ozark Center Military Liaison, on his induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame "Elite 11" for Football! While attending Carl Junction High School, Roger earned Second Team All-State honors in Class 3 in 1983, helping the Bulldogs win the Big 8 Conference and reach the state semifinals before finishing 8-4. Roger was a team captain and also earned All-District and All-Conference as a defensive back and wide receiver, among other positions. His stats include 587 yards, 488 yards receiving, 288 yards on kickoff returns, and 17 touchdowns. And that’s just the football! As a wrestler, Roger was a state qualifier and conference champion. He went on to play for Southwest Baptist university before serving in the United States Army. These days, Roger oversees Ozark Center’s Veteran Integration Program, and earlier this year, he was named a 2025 Mental Health Champion by the Missouri Mental Health Foundation. Bravo Roger!
