🔥 Why Your Cholesterol, Thyroid, and Inflammation Are All Connected 🔥

If you’ve ever looked at your labs and thought,
“Why is my cholesterol high even when I eat healthy?”
…here’s the missing link:

👉 Your thyroid and your inflammation levels control your cholesterol—not just your diet.

Let’s break it down ⬇️

🟣 1. Thyroid Hormones Directly Regulate Cholesterol
Your thyroid acts like the “metabolic thermostat.”
When thyroid function slows even slightly (even with a “normal” TSH):

LDL can increase

HDL can drop

Triglycerides go up

Cholesterol clearance slows down

🚫 There’s No Such Thing as “Bad” Cholesterol — Here’s the Truth 🚫

We’ve all heard it:
“HDL is good. LDL is bad.”
But that’s NOT how the body works.

🟡 LDL is not ‘bad.’
LDL’s job is to transport cholesterol (your hormone + brain building block!) to the cells that need repair, fuel, and structure.
It’s basically your body’s delivery system — essential, purposeful, and intelligent.

🔵 HDL is not ‘good’ by itself.
Its job is simply different: HDL helps return excess cholesterol back to the liver for processing.
It’s your body’s recycling system.

Neither one is bad.
Both are required for health, healing, hormones, and brain function.

🚨 So what’s the real issue?
Inflammation.
When inflammation is high, LDL particles can become oxidized and sticky — not because LDL is bad, but because the environment is unhealthy.
