We added to the team in the last two weeks. We are excited about what Dr Reed brings to the team, join us in welcoming him!

Dr. Brandon Reed grew up in Gardner, KS and attended K-State for undergrad where he majored in Kinesiology and Nutrition. Upon graduation from K-State he enrolled at Cleveland Chiropractic College and completed over 400 hours of continuing education training outside of school requirements in techniques he continues to use such as dry needling, ART, adjusting, and exercise-based rehabilitation.
He has been practicing chiropractic for 7 years as an associate and practice owner and loves treating high-level athletes, weekend warriors, and anybody seeking to move better, feel better, and navigate their day with more ease!

We’d like to take a moment to recognize and thank Dr. Weston Loder as he prepares for the next chapter of his journey in Texas this March. After several years at Keating Chiropractic, his impact on both our clinic and our patients has been truly meaningful.

We work with a lot of athletes, grade school to the Olympic level. But, when you see a kid in a community, maybe 8th grade, maybe a freshman in high school, maybe a sophomore, commit to the goal of becoming a college athlete, it’s special. At that point, they understand the sacrifice and work it will take, and we get to play a roll in helping them any way possible. Dialing in nutrition, modifying training and workouts, working through an ACL rehab their junior year, working through an ankle injury their senior year, providing recovery work in season etc. It’s a privilege to be part of their team through that process helping them work toward their goal.

It’s just as rewarding seeing them come home over a winter break as a college athlete, drop in for treatment and recovery work, and have the opportunity to listen about their success in college. Great work guys, your community is always here rooting for you. , ,

Tis the season of ankle injuries; we have had 5 in the office in the past two weeks alone! Football, cross country, volleyball you name it. Ankle sprains (rolling an ankle) are the number one injury that athletes sustain in the US. So, odds are if you are active you’ve dealt with one.

R.I.C.E (rest, ice, compression, and elevation) for years has been the way to treat these issues, but that is no longer the gold standard. Treatments such as dry needling and ART in conjunction with active loading and rehab/therapy exercises can produce faster healing times with a decreased chance of re-injury.
