Reflexions Reflexology Reflexology is a deeply relaxing touch therapy ideal for wellness. It is a treatment by pressure applied to specific zones, primarily the hands and feet.

After many years of realizing the importance of touch in helping people feel better, I have opened a reflexology business I dreamed about. As a long time nurse, It allows me to continue to offer help to people that are not feeling well or to reinforce their wellness through this fantastically relaxing non-invasive bodywork.

With the new year here and changes all around us, I have decided to close my Reflexions business and fully retire. I have enjoyed providing this service and feel good about the 6 1/2 years of helping friends feel better and "little lighter on their feet". Thank you all for your support and patronage throughout this time. It has been a rewarding experience. I hope you will continue using local health care providers to stay well in mind, body, and soul. Please help spread the word that our local museum is hosting a book signing tomorrow, Friday Oct 1, at 1:30. The author, James Collett, will be present with his pictorial book, The Old Spanish Trail Highway in Texas”. A program on local OST history will be given as well. Come visit and have refreshments.

Kimble County Museum is hosting a book review and signing this Friday, Oct .1 1:30-3pm. You are invited for refreshments and to meet James Collett, author of “The Old Spanish Trail Highway in Texas”. Cloudpoint in Kimble County is the well known halfway point from the 100 year old southern route from Florida to California. A short program on local OST happenings by Nancy Nunns will be available as well. Come learn about more of our wonderful history and see this great museum. See you Friday!!

I have enjoyed helping people feel better with reflexology and acupressure for over two years now at my business, “Reflexions”. In the endeavor to provide more choices in natural therapies (locally), I am so pleased and excited to now have a massage therapist, Taryn Young. Taryn is a licensed massage therapist and has been practicing for 2 years.

Reflexology and massage therapy work very well together to give your body the care it so desperately needs.
Taryn is a Junction girl and has returned to practice let-time here at Reflexions. She gave me a massage recently and it was wonderful! Taryn’s hours are:

Saturdays 9-3pm

"Reflexions" News

With a growing trend toward holistic health, the ancient practice of Reflexology is becoming more well known in aiding the body to relax,
renew, recover, and reenergize.

Reflexology is done with the application of pressure with the practitioner's hands and fingers to certain areas or
zones of the body in primarily the client's ears, hands and feet.
This is a light touch and does not hurt.
Following maps for guidance, a connection is made between
these zone areas to organs and systems in the body.

Acupressure is also an ancient form of the healing arts. This
works well with Reflexology as many of the pressure points for relaxation are in close vicinity to reflexology zones. When
practiced together it allows the most stimulation for enabling
the body to use its own healing capabilities and help relieve pain.

The I hr. sessions are given in a calm and peaceful environment
while the clothed client rests comfortably in a reclining position.
Respect of privacy and client confidentiality is maintained.
