We are working around the clock for our expansion and we are so excited at the progress we are making on the new space. We have tried hard to keep the store open regardless of work being done, so we just want to provide a quick update for our customers. Monday and Tuesday we were closed due to work being done. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused a pipe in the new space needs to be replaced and the noise of concrete being jackhammered out would not have provided a relaxing environment for our employees or customers. We are open again regular hours!

Relaxation is expanding on offering new eco friendly options in our store. We are always on the hunt to bring environmental clean items for the community, and this is something want to continue from eco clean sheets, shampoo and conditioners bars.

We also recycle plastic grocery bags!! If you have plastic grocery bags we will take and reuse them! Just bring them into the store 🙂

You heard it! We are expanding!
We here at Relaxation want to thank every single member of the community without you this wouldn’t be a possibility and we here at Relaxation feel so honored and blessed to have not only your support but your business. As a small family owned business.

Four years ago, Brittany Honsinger started a little self-care business in a closet at the Eagles Club. She was going through a hard time, struggling to get out of the house, and found healing in bath bombs and soaps, simple rituals that helped her rebuild her confidence one bubble at a time.

Fast forward to today: RELAXation just broke ground on a 900-square-foot expansion.

Let that sink in. From a closet to breaking their sales record within days of moving to the mall, to growing every single year since. This Mother's Day, they're unveiling a whole new space with expanded colognes and perfumes (guys finally get their own section!), more kids' bath products, makeup tutorials, and down the line — beauty and wellness services like permanent makeup and piercing.

Behind the scenes? Her husband Matthew is doing the remodel work. Because Relaxation isn't just Brittany's dream, it's a family operation, through and through. Their two boys pitch in too, including 15-year-old Eric and 9-year-old Aaron Danger (yes, Danger is his middle name), who's quite the salesman.

Brittany's a born-and-raised Juneau Honsinger, a falconer, a dog trainer with five German Shepherds, the exclusive Bare Minerals and Buxom retailer in Juneau, and now —a small business owner who turned her own healing into a thriving hub for self-care in our community.

When we talk about the mall family, this is exactly what we mean. Brittany says the mall feels like family, and we're honored to be part of her journey from that closet to this massive expansion.
