NEXT WEEK! Sunday February 8th at 4pm — Give yourself the gift of radiant rest 💫

This restorative workshop, led by our own , bodyworker, healer, and artist, was inspired & created to foster full body relaxation, stress-relief & mental refreshment 🙏

Julie holds a receptive, conscious space, making this practice accessible to all levels, offering a deep sense of connection, relaxation & clarity 🤍

Yoga Nidra, commonly known as the yoga of sleep, is a guided meditation into extended, resting consciousness ✨

You will begin seated with a discussion on what to expect, terminology used, and an opportunity to ask questions before the Yoga Nidra practice begins.

You will then move into a supine/savasana posture and be in stillness for 40-50 minutes, while Julie guides you through a flowing series of meditation-like practices aimed at relaxing the mind 😌

At the conclusion of the Yoga Nidra practice, there will be a short break, then we meet back on our mat in a seated position for writing and reflecting with journalling prompts ✍️

While the studio has common props available to borrow, please bring a pillow, your favorite blanket and anything you else you may need to be truly, deeply comfortable.

Clipboard, pencil and paper will be provided for integration/closing; you may also bring a journal 📓

Honoring Veteran’s Day with the Celestial Spotlight on an amazing program that we are proud to be a part of — Fort Freedom 🇺🇸

Fort Freedom is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing Veteran su***de and healing the invisible wounds of war through a whole-person approach. Their 12-week program blends trauma therapy, physical fitness, mindfulness, and community integration to restore purpose and connection. Every aspect of their model — from group sessions to aftercare — is designed to help Veterans reclaim their lives, rebuild relationships, and rediscover who they are beyond their service.

Through weekly yoga sessions woven into their Freedom and Honor Programs, Veterans learn to reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, and rediscover a sense of control and peace. Whether it’s sunrise yoga on the beach or guided practice within our walls, each session helps Veterans shift from survival mode to mindful presence.

These yoga sessions aren’t just classes — they’re acts of restoration. Veterans who once carried tension and trauma learn to breathe again, to trust themselves, and to find strength in stillness. It’s a powerful complement to Fort Freedom’s trauma-informed therapy, fitness, and mentorship model — and a reminder that recovery isn’t about going back; it’s about moving forward with intention.
