This achievement deserves to be shared here as well. Rafa, I am proud of the person you have become and of all the goals and dreams that you have.

Rafa will be attending Gordon College to play lacrosse, a testament to his unwavering dedication and perseverance. God has blessed him.

If this post can inspire one individual to chase their dreams, I will consider it a success. Yes, it is possible to play your favorite sport and go to college to be a student athlete. Although only 7% of high school athletes achieve this feat, with persistence and hard work, anything is possible. Thank you .athletics2.0 , for all the love, encouragement and support!

If this post can inspire a young woman who is considering a career in medicine but is concerned that being a doctor and a mother is not possible, I want to assure her that it is. Being a physician and a mother can be challenging, but it is also beautiful. It is possible to be present and supportive while being a dedicated physician. Yes, there may be guilt and sacrifices, especially during residency, it is possible to achieve a better work-life balance once residency is complete. Every 2 years we need to renew our medical license. It is time! It is important to do certain CMEs that are mandatory.
- 2 for medical errors
-2 for prescribing controlled substances
- 36 for general AMA category 1

And every few years domestic violence.

The best and easiest way to do it is through a reporting entity. I have been using cebroker.com for many years that helps reporting realtime the CME completed.

I will be completing CMEs for the next few weeks....
